Come Worship God in our New Location!

I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. -Isaiah 43:19

Worship Service is on Sundays at 9:30 am
9857 Schiller Boulevard, Franklin Park IL 60131
Enter on Emerson through the glass doors with the 'Resurrection Lutheran Church' sign in the window.

On December 4th, led by seven former pastors, the people of Resurrection Lutheran Church sojourned from our historic building at 9920 W. Grand Ave, where we had served Franklin Park for nearly 70 years, to this new location. Martin Luther taught that the church is the assembly of people who are gathered by Word and Sacrament. We hold onto this teaching with courage in the assurance that God will continue to work through the Holy Spirit wherever we baptize, commune, proclaim the Good News, strive for peace and justice, and serve all people in the name of Jesus Christ. We continue to serve Christ and the community of Franklin Park through prayer, love, and action.

"Will you be my servant?"

Our outreach is our witness in Franklin Park. If these ministries decline or are ended by lack of resources (leaders, helpers, finances, donations, facilities) the wider community is the loser. We invite you to JOIN THE MISSION at Resurrection Lutheran Church.

Resurrection Lutheran Church is called by God,
to reach beyond our walls and share the Good News,
bringing Christ to the world through Prayer, Love and Action.

We are Disciples in Christ

Join us in the Lord’s ministry...Beyond sharing the Word and the Lord's table at Sunday worship services, we are deeply involved in community outreach.  Our congregation reaches out to the poor, homeless, those in need through P.A.D.S. (Public Assistance to Deliver Shelter), Loaves and Fishes, Alcoholics Anonymous, Food 4 Life food pantry, The Giving Closet clothing closet and so much more to serve the needs in our area.
