SPECIAL EVENTS

 

ARE Joint Congregation Dates:  When the ARE Steering Committee met, we established dates to complete the next part of the process by year’s end, a six part bible study Being on the Way.  Please place these on your calendar:

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #1 – September 12, 12 to 1:45 PM @ St. Luke’s

Pot Luck lunch to begin at noon

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #2 - September 30, 6:30 to 8 PM @ Northlake

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #3 - October 9, 8 to 10:30 AM @ Resurrection 9, breakfast to be served.

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #4 – this part of the study is to be completed by a smaller group of people in each congregation at a time yet to be determined.  This would include talking with the mayor and police chief of each community, the chairs of service organization and neighbors.

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #5 – October 24, 12 to 1:45 PM @ St. Luke’s, Pot luck lunch begins at noon

 

  • Being on the Way – Session #6 – November 6, 9 to 11 AM @ Northlake

Printer Cartridges - Please bring in your empty printer cartridges - ink jet & laser - Please, no copier printers.  The dollars collected from the cartidges is going to the organ fund. 
Cell Phones - We are accepting cell phones again.  Please bring these in also.
