March, 2022

As we move from the 'pandemic' to the 'endemic' stage of COVID-19, I want to make sure that everyone knows of the different ways they can stay connected to Resurrection.

Sunday worship:

In person: We continue to live-stream the service but no longer limit in-person attendance. Social distancing measures are maintained. Masks are not required but are strongly encouraged for everyone entering the building and throughout the service.

Online: You can watch services live on Facebook ( or YouTube ( YouTube allows those with smart TVs to watch the service on a larger screen. If you do not have internet access at home, the church has small tablets that can be borrowed. They include easy instructions for accessing the service online. Please contact the office if you would like one.

Remote communion: RLC has pre-packaged communion elements that can be picked up on Thursdays from 12:00-2:30pm. Please let the office know by 2:00 PM on Wednesdays how many you would like so we can have them ready for you. During the service, there is a time for everyone doing communion remotely to participate. If you live in Leyden Township (or between the church and Elk Grove Village), I am willing to deliver the items to you (usually on Saturdays).

Wednesday activities:

Midday Service: 1:00 PM, available in-person and on Facebook and YouTube.

Bible Study: 2:00 – 3:00 PM via Zoom at or by calling in at 1-312-626-6799, Meeting ID: 230 167 8868, Password: 9777. You can also watch (but not participate) at

Evening Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, available on Facebook and YouTube only.

And remember, if you are sick with anything more than allergies, please stay home!
