Resurrection Lutheran Church (RLC) has just completed yet another expansion of their Food Pantry & Clothing Closet. RLC’s Outreach Ministries have been going strong for nearly ten (10) years now, serving the greater Leyden Township. With annual service to nearly 2,000 people in need.
Just 2 ½ years since our last expansion, RLC’s Outreach Team has established wonderful partnerships to help with this next phase of our ministries.
We are now open on:
Mondays from noon to 3:00pm at 9777 Grand Avenue and on Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm at 2825 N. Hawthorne St., in Franklin Park. (Our partnership at what is being dubbed “The Outreach House” is with SABAH. SABAH worships out of 9920 W. Grand Ave., Franklin Park.)
For those who are curious and want to learn more about how we can help, feel free call 847-455-7013 with your questions or simply stop in any Monday or Saturday (except holidays). Our volunteers will have their hand extended to welcome you.
All of our Food & Clothing items are donated. Anyone in need is welcome to visit us once a month at either of our locations. Anyone that would like to donate food or new or gently used clothing please call the office at 847-455-7013 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your support!
