Food Pantry and Clothing Closet

Resurrection Lutheran Church's (RLC) Outreach Ministries have been going strong since 2009 serving the greater Leyden Township and surrounding areas. 

 

Resurrection Lutheran Church is a constant presence and stability for many during difficult economic times, but we don’t do it alone! Schools, support groups, churches, businesses, civic organizations, local libraries, and residents – beside our own members – support RLC outreach ministries. Here are some facts:

 

·  Many outside groups support our ministries with $$ donations.

· Several different groups, organizations, businesses and churches provide food donations or conduct food or clothing drives to support

   the Food Pantry and Clothing Closet.

 · We serve approximately 300 guests per month.

We are open on Mondays, including most holidays, from noon to 3:00 pm at 9777 Grand Avenue in Franklin Park. 

For those who want to learn more about how you can help, feel free to call 847-455-7013 with your questions or simply stop in any Monday. Our volunteers will have their hand extended to welcome you!

Anyone in need is welcome to visit us once a month. Anyone that would like to donate food can call the office at 847-455-7013 or send an email to office@rlcfp.org for more information. If you would like to make a donation to support our food pantry, you can send a check, stop in, or donate online by clicking on "Donate" located at the top of the page on our website then click "Food Pantry."
